Frustrated Journey

Medium: Oil Painting

This was the first real fantasy oil painting I had attempted and I was pleased with the result. The cloaked figure is a wizard attempting to get to the tower in the mountains where he was trained, after learning of the death of his master. However, just as he gets within eyesight, he notices the bridge is out. The painting captures him as he tries to think of another means to cross the chasm.
