The Ruins of Thorendon

Of all the oil paintings I've done, this one is my favourite. The picture is of the covenant of my old Ars Magica saga, Thorendon. Thorendon is a ruined island off the coast of Gascony, haunted by perpetual storms and the ghosts of past inhabitants. The wizards who have come to live there are outcasts or isolationists, and all are curious about what happened to the previous wizards who lived there in luxury a hundred years before....
